I seen these months ago on St Marks and I'm now getting them. I waited so long because I was concerned about the quality of the glasses which I know isn't so good because its being sold on St Marks and I got them for 8$. But I don't care, I love them because they're beautiful no matter the price and how it was manufactured ;)

After my student government meeting I spent the day with my friend Shaquille in Washington Square Park. Its by far the most peaceful park I ever been in.

Day One With Irene.

Living in NYC you wouldn't expect Earthquakes and potentially life threatening Hurricanes which causes Bloomberg to call for "mandatory" evacuations of some parts of NY. Well the unexpected occurred this week. Tuesday I woke up to my mother screaming and my room shaking and Friday having to evacuate my home in the Rockaways. Because of Hurricane Irene my family and I is staking out in an Hotel in Queens despite the fact that I live in a 6th floor apartment. I know flooding occurred which would cause me to be stuck in my apartment so I'm thankful for my departure of Far Rockaway, even though I'm concerned on how and when I'm getting back. Excuse my headgear ;).

When I heard his first mixtape "House of Balloons" I was blown away by his beautiful soft tone vocals. So, when I found out about his new mixtape "Thursday" I was a bit excited and I must say Its beautiful and much different from "House of Balloons."

Such few words can say so much. Like I stated before a lot of inspiration been comming my way and Malcolm X is of the few whose been inspiring me. Currently I'm reading the autobiography of Malcolm X, I'm only in the beginning of the book but It's impacting me already. A lot of people said great things about the book and it has changed many lives for example Spike Lee. He said it changed the whole way he thought. I'm reading it to see how it will impact me and I just won't know until the end of the book. The quote I featured above is how Malcolm inspired me. It inspired me to do more and it shows me why other people inspire me. Passion and Ambition is of the qualities of who inspires me and they're the people who are in fact preparing for their future by starting now. I feel I'm doing the same but there's just so much more I know I'm capable of doing.
